Articles published in the International Journal of Law and Business Studies (IJLBS) are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0). This licence permits sharing and adaptation of published articles, including for commercial purposes, subject to the conditions below.
1. Permitted Use
Users may copy, distribute, reproduce, and share the licensed material in any medium or format. They may also translate, adapt, or build upon it. Separate permission from the author or journal is not required for uses permitted by the licence, provided its conditions are followed.
2. Attribution
When sharing an article or an adaptation, users must:
- Give appropriate credit to the author or authors.
- Retain supplied copyright, licence, and disclaimer notices.
- Provide a link to the original material where reasonably practicable.
- Include a link to the CC BY 4.0 licence.
- Clearly indicate any changes and retain notices of earlier modifications.
A full citation identifying the authors, article title, journal, publication details, and DOI or article URL is the recommended form of acknowledgement.
Attribution must not suggest that the authors or IJLBS endorse the user, an adaptation, or its use.
3. Adaptations and Further Distribution
Translations, abridgements, and other adaptations must be identified as modified versions. Users must not impose legal conditions or technological restrictions that prevent others from exercising the rights granted under CC BY 4.0.
The licence does not require adaptations to use the same licence, but their terms must not prevent compliance with the original CC BY 4.0 conditions.
4. Third-Party Material and Other Rights
Images, tables, figures, or other material carrying a separate credit line or licence notice may be subject to different terms. Users must check these notices and obtain permission from the relevant rights holder where required.
CC BY 4.0 does not grant trademark or patent rights. Privacy, publicity, and other rights may also affect a proposed use. Uses permitted by applicable copyright exceptions do not require permission under this licence.
5. Continuing Permission
The permissions granted under CC BY 4.0 cannot be withdrawn from users who comply with its terms. Failure to comply may result in termination of the licensed rights, subject to the licence’s reinstatement provisions.
6. Full Licence
These terms summarise the article licence. The complete CC BY 4.0 legal text governs its interpretation and application.
